Stainless Steel 420 | 1.4028 | X30Cr13

This 420 Grade is martensitic stainless steel that provides good corrosion resistance, strength and hardness. Like any other stainless steel, grade 420 can also be hardened through heat treatment. It is magnetic in the annealed and hardened version. Excellent corrosion resistance properties are achieved when the metal is polished, surface grounded or hardened.
