This 316L stainless steel is the low carbon version of regular 316 stainless steel and is more corrosion resistant due to the addition of molybdenum. It has good heat resistance which reduces in continuous use at 425 – 861°C in water.This material is often found in applications such as food processing, pharmaceutical equipment, medical devices and marine technology.
